My Forex Funds Hardware Upgrades
While you were sleeping, potentially awake, and potentially eating egg-shaped chocolate, My Forex Funds had some hardware Upgrades.
Firstly, My Forex Funds has doubled the size of their Metatrader5 server machines to basically turn them into machines. Next, they added a Frankfurt and Paris datacenter. This will help with routing.
The firm also shared that some users have reported issues with mt5 connectivity. Unfortunately, this is due to routing issues Metatrader5 has. The only thing they can do is they have just done it and increased their power as much as possible. They have also added additional DCs for the auto-routing system forced upon them by the MetaQuotes overlords.
For traders facing connectivity issues, My Forex Funds has also shared a solution. The first step is to connect with a PC. If you still have the connectivity issue on your PC, click on the little colored rectangle at the bottom right of the screen and change your DC. It will immediately alleviate the issue.
Unfortunately, MT5 mobile has an awful routing system that forces you onto a data center and doesn’t allow you to change it. Sometimes if you restart your phone, it will change on reload. Their recommendation is if you see such issues, change the device, preferably to PC, or change to MT4.
My Forex Funds shared that they have done what they did. The growth and success are why this issue with MT5 has popped up. MetaTrader was never built to handle the sheer number of traders gracing their servers.
They are hoping to solve the issues as soon as possible. In fact, probably most of the problems might have been solved already.
