We shared yesterday that TopTier Trader MetaTrader4 (MT4) and MetaTrader5 (MT5) desktop applications are currently not operational due to unforeseen server issues related to MetaQuotes. They are working directly with MetaQuotes at the highest levels to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Whereas today, TopTier Trader has some important updates regarding the ongoing account migration to TradeLocker, compensation measures, and instructions for password reset upon your first login to the TopTier Trader Dashboard.
TopTier Trader Account Migration to TradeLocker
TopTier Trader is currently migrating all affected accounts to TradeLocker, their temporary trading solution, during the service outage. This ensures uninterrupted trading and account management for both challenge and funded accounts.
Compensation Clarification
- For Challenge Accounts: If your challenge account was in profit before the outage, the firm will adjust your account balance by an additional 2% of the initial balance to compensate for missed opportunities caused by the platform’s unavailability.
- For Challenge Accounts in Loss: TopTier Trader will reset your account balance to the initial starting balance, allowing you to resume trading from the same point once the platforms are fully restored.
- For Funded Accounts: If you incurred a loss due to a trade executed during the outage, they will reverse the impact of that trade and restore your balance to the value it had before the trade was executed.
Password Reset Instructions
Upon successfully migrating to TradeLocker, you must reset your password when logging into the TopTier Trader Dashboard for the first time. Please follow these steps:
- Visit the password reset page at: https://app.toptiertrader.com/forgot
- Enter the email address linked to your new TradeLocker account.
- Follow the instructions provided in the password reset email sent to your registered email address.
- Set a new password for your TopTier Trader Dashboard.
Please remember that this password reset is a security measure to ensure the safety and confidentiality of your account. Choose a strong and unique password for enhanced security.
