Trouble in Paradise? SurgeTrader has shared that MatchTrade Technologies has notified them that they will not respect their contractual obligations to continue providing the trading platform for SurgeTrader, LLC. In simple words, MatchTrader has terminated the SurgeTrader License and will not provide a trading platform for the firm.
As per the firm, there is no legal basis for MatchTrader’s unilateral decision to terminate SurgeTrader’s license. The firm is current on all fees owed to MatchTrader, and they are not in violation or breach of any contractual obligations or restrictions.
SurgeTrader License Terminated by MatchTrader: Trouble in Paradise?
Given that SurgeTrader is in full compliance, there must be another reason for MatchTrader’s unilateral decision. SurgeTrader also shared that they believe that a well-known third party, which has deep relationships with MatchTrader and which has a massive footprint within the industry, has influenced MatchTrader to to make this decision.
Also, SurgeTrader has fully cooperated with its legal team, directors, and owners and went to great lengths to remedy any concerns therein with its legal teams and address all unwarranted and unfounded accusations against the Company and its founder. Rest assured, SurgeTrader has been exploring legal avenues to remedy this unjust termination of its contract with MatchTrader.
However, with this termination, they have suspended the sale of new auditions. This is until such time as the dispute with MatchTrader is resolved or until they are able to secure an alternative trading platform to migrate existing accounts.
The firm also shared that they selected MatchTrader for their recent migration as a respected trading platform in the industry and fully expected them to be honorable to SurgeTrader, putting the best interest of their traders at the forefront. The firm apologizes for the significant and unnecessary disruption brought on by them to the world-wide trading community.
